Script Schedules

Overview

Scripts and script collections are very useful to maintain and operate Azure Virtual Desktop. Schedules can be used to run a script or script collection regularly, e.g., install Windows updates each Sunday at 02:00 am.

To add more specific, Advanced Time Settings, click Show advanced time and date settings above the table.

Drag and Drop Scheduling Order

Session host pool schedules can now be reordered using drag and drop. This is useful when multiple schedules exist and need to be arranged in a clear, logical order.

Technical behavior:
The system allows schedules to overlap. Overlapping schedules are considered a bad practice and are not recommended. When schedules overlap, the schedule higher in the list runs first.
